Green Raglan
This is a topdown raglan with a simple rolled neck. I used Collinette Prism wool.
My gauge is 6 stitches over two inches on #9 needles. After washing (yes, I did a swatch & I washed it), it came to 5.5 stitches over two inches or 2.75 stitches/inch. I used a gauge of 3 stitchs/inch for my calculations.
I use the topdown raglan sweater calculator.
Measurements: 16" neck, raglan length 11" desired body length: 18" sleeve length: 19" Total neck stitches 3*16=48 stitches. I cast on 50 stitches.
For the sleeves, I decreased every third row, 2" from the state of the sleeves.
Around the bust, I did short rows for some extra room with K5, turn, k5, turn, etc.
I started with 10 skeins of Prism and had about 4 left over. (it became a gift to a new knitter & a pair of socks and other stuff to come).
